I am getting the opportunity to teach a class on Saturday. We will be using the Autumn Accents Die (127812 pg. 192) from the catalog. This turns out so beautiful and makes a wonderful fall decoration. It will be a lot of fun.
The rhinestones add the additional sparkle. Love this. It is amazing how you can take white card stock, color it with a brayer and color it to make these beautiful leaves.
I am not certain that Wonderfally is really a word except it seemed to fit my card for today. This one was created using a card I saw through my online membership to Stamp Nation. It is a great place to get ideas. It only costs me $7.95 per month and I have learned so much from this site.
The leaves on this project came from the Wonderfall Stampset that is in the Holiday Catalog and cut out using the coordinating die.
I pulled out my big Shot to add texture to the More Mustard Cardstock with my square lattice folder and to the Chocolate Chip Cardstock I used the new Woodgrain embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog. The frame around my sentiment was created from the Designer Frames Folders. Check out that beautiful button. I can’t get enough of the new Bronze Buttons. The sentiment is a retired stamp but there are plenty to choose from in the current catalog. I used More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie and some Chocolate Chip ink.
By the way, Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow! I am so excited as my college son will be home to share the holiday with us and so bummed at the same time as my oldest daughter and grandchildren will not be joining us. I hope you are all surrounded by friends and family this season.
Don’t forget about the on-line extravaganza going on currently — You can get some great deals that are sure to make a fun Crafty Christmas.
I created this card and it came in handy for a friend that just had surgery. I put it in the mail to her today — I hope she likes it.
This was made using Sahara Sand, Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard, and Tangerine Tango. The new Apothecary framelet and large oval punch made the perfect thing for the sentiment which came from the stampset called Perfectly Penned.
It’s Sunday and with the time being set back, I am loving having what feels like extra time this morning. Here are two of my Thankyou cards for purchasing customers from last week’s workshop.
These are made with the beautiful Spice Cake DSP. I used Pool Party and Soft Suede CS and the other one uses More Mustard and Soft Suede I stamped the background leaf with the same ink color as the CS. The leaves use the Rock and Roll technique again to get some fabulous color. The card on the Left has pool party with more mustard and the card on the right has more mustard with soft suede. See the cute little tags that are attached to the stems? The tag punch and stampset really make for some cute additions to your cards. If you love the Gently Falling stamp set and the Spice Cake DSP as much as me, you need to get them soon as they are only available until Jan. 3, 2012. They come from the Holiday Mini and can be purchased through me or my on-line store. I love fall and all the crunch leaves. It is fun to watch them swirl in the wind. Sadly enough, the snow has come and what was on my lawn is now covered inwhite. It is starting to make me feel like getting my Christmas Cards made though. I will have to post some of them later on this week. Have good week and thanks for stopping in.
