Well, not only did I make good use of this stamp but my mother also made a handful of cards. I think I will get lots of good use from this little stamp. Now it is well loved, can you tell by this picture?
Get yours while you can. It is only available until the end of August 2011. The Nautical Expedition DSP is also a wonderful match and will make your card making even more fun with this stamp. The Nautical Expedition DSP is also available as a digital download and can be obtained through my on-line store. Get yours and get stamping.
Thanks for visiting me this week and sharing your time with me. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think of these boats.
Can you tell, I had alot of fun making these cards? One today and one more tomorrow and then, I will move onto something else. This is another card that I CASED from Wendy Weixler. I loved this one because of the DSP. It was a little tricky to cut out such small pieces but it went together quite well. I changed it slightly but for the most part it was her idea.

This one I credit to myself. My mother and I debated the sails. Is the sail on the Right wider or more narrow? She decided that both the right and left triangles were part of the sail and I was still questioning it. I have seen other demonstrators do it both ways. I looked up some sail boat pictures because I am not as familiar with sail boats as some, (in fact, I have never been on one). I concluded that either is correct as it depends on the sailboat. So some of my card with this stamp have both the right and left sections of the right sail as material and others only the left section has been filled in, with the right being interpreted as ropes. I love this stamp. It reminds me of being on the lake. I have been out on a pontoon boat and a motor boat. It is such a beautiful place to be — on a boat on a lake. I have never been out on the sea, but I am certain that it would be just as thrilling and breath taking.
With Father’s day just around the corner, this stamp makes wonderful cards for just such an occasion.
